Heart of Indiana: Indianapolis Website Design
Original Design
This was my original design for the site, which was created for a web design competition. I decided that the traditional three column layout made it look a little dated and decided to redesign it and really challenge myself to make something better and more original.
Redesign
This is the redesign I did for the site. I wanted the site to feel casual yet sophisticated, like the city of Indianapolis. It features a PHP slideshow and dynamic sidebar with an integrated weather API and the traditional links to social media. I am most proud of the navbar, which I made using the reflection of Indianapolis's skyline, and conveys the site's theme and the beauty of the city.
At BPA SLC, the website took home Second Place in the Web Design Competition.
