I have a degree in Political Science from Oklahoma State, but decided that academia wasn't the route I wanted to go. I have always been interested in technology, computer science, and the internet, but starting becoming interested in Web Development because I have a brother who is a Web Developer. His work always sounded interesting, and I saw that it combined many of my interests. Soon I found myself enrolling in the Web Design and Development program at Francis Tuttle to study Web Development full time.

I found out along the way that although I really enjoy development, I found myself doing design more and more and feeling less and less like a developer. It made me realize my real passion is for Web Design and design in general, so I switched career majors and haven't looked back since.

Aside from Web Design, I have been drawing and painting since I was eight years old, almost 16 years. I love anything arts and crafts. In my freetime I also enjoy learning about independent game development and have taught myself Unity3D for 2D games, and Impact.js. I also work at GoldFire Studios as a programming intern, learning HTML5 Canvas, Javascript, and the Isogenic engine.
